Hit 2 Hit August 31, 2008
Posted by The Secret Surfer in : Reviews , add a commentOn the surface, Hit2Hit appears to be just another exchange. It’s got all the standard features you’ve come to expect. Aside from the downline builder, there don’t appear to be any flashy modifications going on here. However, appearances can be deceiving, and upon closer scrutiny, you’ll find an admin hard at work making every effort to meet her member’s needs.
At hit2hit you’ll find a rare feature in the ad co-op automatically included with all membership upgrades. Upgraded members have their sites rotated at over 30 manual traffic exchanges, so long as their sites have credits assigned. When you consider that Hit2Hit has possibly the largest variety of upgrade options available of any exchange, with pricing starting at a paltry $5.50 per month for the white rose upgrade, Hit2Hit has become one of the most affordable ad co-ops you’ll find.
Over 30,000 members strong and delivering a nice and steady flow of traffic, Hit2Hit is looking good in 2008.

Traffic At The Races
Posted by The Secret Surfer in : Reviews , add a commentI’ve always been attracted to innovation. Fresh ideas, improvements on old ideas, it’s evolution at work and part of what makes the human race so special. So in a time when “cookie cutter” traffic exchanges, which are essentially clones of each other with a few modified graphics, are prevalent, logging in to Steve Ayling’s Traffic at the Races is wonderfully refreshing.
While the focus is on the traffic, as well it should be, it’s the method in which you earn pageviews that makes this particular TE such a treat. Rather than earning views for each page surfed, after every 10 pages you view, the race screen loads and 5 horses race for the finish line. Each horse has a value in “race points”(credits) and the horse that wins determines how many points you get. You also earn race points for each race run by your downline, and Steve has included some great looking, and rather hilarious, splash pages to help you build your team.
With thousands of members already racing and Steve’s unique adverts bringing in more every day, It’s safe to say that pages rotated at this racetrack are getting some great exposure. Throw in bonus credits appearing rather frequently, and more bonus credits on the surf verification page, and you’ll see the traffic coming in droves before you know it.
If you’re a fan of e-mail marketing, you’ll be delighted to see that free members can e-mail their downline once every 14 days, and upgraded members can do so every 7 days.
Steve seems to really be on to something with this method of earning credits. With credits being earned in this manner, you find yourself looking up from the surf buttons more often, and that’s what it’s all about isn’t it. Eyes on the ads. Bottom line, Traffic at the Races is a powerful, yet simple system that is only going to increase in value as it’s membership continues to grow. Keep your eye on this one.

Royal Surf
Posted by The Secret Surfer in : Reviews , add a commentRoyal Surf immediately stands out from the crowd as it’s design is impressive to say the least. Once inside I’m happy to say the program itself does not disappoint. This is a highly customized hit exchange running on the time tested LJ script. A quick look through the navigation links reveals all the top notch features we’ve come to expect from a quality exchange, including free url rotators, a downline builder and the ability to contact your downline to name a few. But the real question is, What does this site do to ensure active surfers viewing our ads every day?
Possibly the most popular feature would be their unique surfing game. Their highly addictive “quests” keep surfers firmly planted, clicking away as they attempt to collect a variety of items to assist in completeing the current quest. Completing the quest successfully earns the surfer an increased surf ratio, as well as an increased “strength” rating to assist in the next quest.
As if the game wasn’t enough, Royal Surf has it’s own spin on Surf Rewards, a feature originated by Traffic-Splash which rewards active surfers with free banners or text links. RS Offers both daily and wekly surf rewards, some by way of a weekly drawing, and some must be claimed by submitting a support ticket. Both result in increased surf activity and ultimately, more eyes on the ads.
When you factor in the daily prize pages, weekly joust tournaments, and the rock solid customer support, It’s a good bet your advertising will get the “royal” treatment at Royal Surf.
